Non-integer Frame Rates for Video Export

AnimaShooter Capture Beta 3.8.9.9 is Here!
Check out the new Beta of AnimaShooter Capture which is now available to download.
The key improvement that should be mentioned is greater support for Canon RAW files. With this Beta you can import CRW or CR2 image files as any other images - you can simply add these images to your timeline.
Plus now you have more control over RAW image data that comes from your camera. First, you can tell AnimaShooter to preserve highlights when it lightening the image. Second, you can choose whether to apply your camera White Balance to your shot. Previously AnimaShooter has been performing such operation by default, assuming your camera White Balance is set to meet your scene lighting conditions. Now you free to choose.
And the last but not least - processing of RAW image data has become a bit faster. Get new Beta here: http://www.animashooter.com/beta/

Let me draw your attention to new features. The key feature of version 3.8.9 is Live View Scopes window containing a professional oscilloscopes. In addition to histogram now AnimaShooter is able to show Y Waveform, RGB Parade and Vectorscope in real time. Live View Scopes work both with Canon DSLRs and web cameras. All of the flavours of AnimaShooter - Capture, Pioneer and free Junior now have this feature.

Any time you’re adjusting camera settings you can control the camera Live View signal to avoid overexposure or underexposure of your shots.
Professional oscilloscopes window with RGB Waveform and Vectorscope
Like the histogram, the waveform shows the intensity of both the luminance (brightness) and chrominance (color) levels of an image, depending on the waveform you choose. Unlike the histogram, however, the waveform displays the levels of each pixel in its location on the image. The vectorscopes display the hue and the amount of color in an image. You can easily choose which type of waveform you’d like to see: the RGB waveform (shows the RGB signals separated); the luma waveform (displays the brightness of shots) and the chrominance (shows you all three red, green, and blue channel levels as a composite).

AnimaShooter 3.8.8.16 Released
We are happy to announce that the new release of AnimaShooter 3.8.8.16 is now available for download! This version delivers some new features, as well as set of bug fixes.

- AnimaShooter gained a major update of its internal media functionality. Now it can produce most up-to-date WebM, WebP, OGV video files.
- Another new option is zoom and pan the main view to capture and control your scene with more precise.
- Now you can use number of presets to rapidly set key project settings such as frame width, height, fps.
- This version also introduces Rule of Thirds grid - the compositional guideline that can improve the balance of your shots.
- AnimaShooter Capture now has floating panel with focus controls to speedup and simplify focusing. Plus, Capture now has support for newest Canon camera - a new DSLR EOS R.
- Now you can use a keypad to control the software with more efficency: press Ins (0) key to start playback (works on Video tab), cance deletion with (-) minus key (works on Capture and Timing tabs).
- All versons (Capture, Pioneer, Junior) gained some performance optimizations, minor UI changes, bugfixes.

Post-processing animation shot with AnimaShooter
Check out some quite simple post-processing techniques for animation that was shot with AnimaShooter Capture software. Despite the latter has no built-in chromakey preview functionality it is pretty good for shooting animation with a green screen.
